Looking to take a weekend ice fishing trip.

considering independence... anybody fish it?

My brother and his son fished it a couple of times. Not experts. A week ago, there was plenty of ice so that shouldn't be an issue.

It's a good perch/pike/walleye lake. Just look for the dozens of shanties and start there.
