Fished Kent Lake with my B.I.L and another friend from 8 until noon this morning with no luck at all. Fished all around Turtle Island. Set up tip-ups and tried for panfish with no luck. Moved around quite a bit.
Next we moved up to Tipsico and fished a little north of the launch along the drop off. No luck either. Fished from about 12:45 until 4:45. Had a blast either way though.
Just wondering if we were doing anything wrong though. We are new to icefishing. We tried minnows with sweedish pimples, wax worms on teardrops, even some mousies and wigglers, but had no luck. I just had the feeling that it was slow today. Didn't seem like anyone else was doing any good either. Could the cold front have slowed them down?
