We always cut ours all up similar to how you would a chicken. Put in crock pot with 2 cans of mushroom soup and one packet of dry onion soup mix and other spices that you like. Cook on low about 8 hours, finger licking good. Always had this with biscuits and the gravy from the pot topped it all off.......................
That or just plain roll in flour and cook in frying pan.

Tried this rabbit recipe last weekend and it was a hit.
Ingredients:
1 rabbit in pieces
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp montreal chicken spice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp curry powder
vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. flour
chicken broth
Mix dry ingredients into the 1/3 cup of flour and coat rabbit. Brown in skillet in vegetable oil on medium high heat, then reduce heat to low and cook for 20 mins. turning once. Remove rabbit and set aside. Drain all but 3 Tbsp. of oil from pan set at medium heat. Stir in 3Tbsp of flour while continually mixing. Add chicken broth until gravy is desired consistency. I served with brown rice and asparagus.

Just try rabbit, beaver or muskrat straight up. With all the additives how can you tell what you are eating.

here's one that was really good
2 rabbits boned and cut into chunks
brown in olive oil and a few cloves of minced garlic and toss into crock pot
1/2 a can of coca cola classic
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
1 lb of mushrooms chunked
1 red pepper chunked
1 medium onion halved and sliced
salt and pepper to taste
let it cook all day on low and thicken with a little flour if necessary
serve it on some fresh kaiser rolls
