where to start??

my dad and i are wanting to catch some perch on sunday around the bay area..i have no clue on where to begin..not asking for any specific spots..just where to go out at with some decent safe ice..its a decent drive for us and i have no clue where to begin any info would be appreciated...thanks

the ice is decent just about everywhere on the inner bay right now,,,,id start around bay city and work up one side or the other...caseville area around sand point and mud creek has been decent

i know walleyman im over it we did ok its been tuff everywher i likke palmer cause you can get to 5-6fow quick and i have never not caught fish early is best ,but good luck
