Today it's about 20 degrees outside and a stiff wind is blowing, not realistic conditions for me to be in my back yard shooting my bow.
If I had my own indoor range at home, I'd be shooting so much more often, especially during the winter and rainy days. What better way is there to spend your time on days like these, especially when cabin fever sets in.
I used to shoot in the basement of my old house, but I had my basement finished in my new house and there just isn't an open area large enough.
Who here has a nice home indoor archery range? And describe it for me - basement, pole barn, hallway in living area, whatever. Also curious how elaborate your ranges are. Pic's would be nice. Just wondering. thanks

If I get the house I want, I'll have over a 20 yard shot and shoot A LOT!
Right now, I've been going to a small shop in town to take care of my itch.

I have about 18yds in my basement. I just got a youth bow for my daughters and they have been shooting from about 10ft to 10 yards. My oldest just turned 10 last month. The other two are 8 and 6. They have been shooting every day that I've been home for the past 2 weeks and love it. There shooting quite well too.

20 yard range in the basement. Nice for tuning problems.

i only have about 15 yards to work with in my basement...it's enough though...really just to keep my muscles and form in shape, and then go hard at it starting in the spring and summer.
I can get 18 yards in my basement, but I have to shoot through three rooms.
Better than freezing.

I could only get about 15 yards in my basement because I have too many rooms down there. Now if I take out a few walls... I really envy you guys with the 20+ yard indoor ranges!

I do 12yds in my basement into a big Morrell bag target. I shoot nearly every day. It is an immense help in keeping in form and in tinkering with gear.

I have about 21 yds and shoot into a 'Block' in my basement. Also belong to a indoor Basement leaque that has been around for 30+ years and there are eight of us that shoot every Thursday night.
