Does anyone have a rough idea how many fps and kenetic energy my bow shoots?
Its a G2 buckmasters 2005 model 27.5 in draw, set at 65lbs. I shoot all carbon arrows 4000=55/70.

Thanks for any info, ROSCORack

Speed can’t be done without a coronagraph. However the 2006 model has an IBO of 310. As for the kinetic energy one of the math people will have to figure that out for you.

Thanks!
I did not think it was quite that fast! But then again, it blew threw 2 bucks without them knowing what hit-em.
Does Jays in Gaylord have a coronagrph?

minus 1.5fps for every pound below 70 = 6
10fps for every inch below 30 = 25
and probably 10fps for being over IBO weight
minus another 10fps for any junk on the string

310-51 = roughyl 260ish.

This is not taking into account less efficiency at the shorter draw length vs 30".

GV's got it again! Your 55/70's are probably real similar to Cabelas Stalker Extreme shafts. I'm I'm right that's abot 7.9 gpi. With nocks, inserts, tip(100) and fletching that would put you around 380 - 400gns. per arrow. This setup with GV's figure on speed would give you about 57 - 60 lbs of kinetic energy.

Run it through the chrono then weigh your arrow. Speed squared times weight divided by 450,240.
