Does anyone know where to get an update on the current labor situation affecting the Ontario Provincial Parks?
There is nothing on their website but I have heard that the parks are still closed as the workers are on strike. We have plans to camp at the Pinery in May but this trip may be in jeopardy.
Thanks in advance for any information.

I've done some searching and can't find anything about a strike. Sounds like you may have to contact the park and recreation division in Ontario.
Here is a link.

Rangerman,
Wewlcome to the site!
I went to the Pinery in scouts and loved it. I plan to go back there sometime in the future. I don't know anything about a strike, but I hope they can work things out in time for your trip.
Good Luck.

Rangerman,
If you haven't been to the Pinery before, make sure you get to the beach 20 minutes before sun down. Take a camera. There are some beautiful sunsets there. If you don't have a sun filter for the camera try your sunglasses over the lens. Buy the way, welcome aboard.
