Does anyone shoot a Ross? I just shot one tonight and Wow. I shot the CR337 and my first group was a shocker. All 5 arrows grouped in the size of a golfball at 20 yards. I was considering purchasing an Switchedback XT but know I am not sure. The CR337 is a little long just like my old mathews LX. So now I want to shoot the new Ross Cardiac. Has anyone shot it?

To my knowledge the only way you could have shot the cardiac already is if you were at the ATA show........ i heard they will be in pro shops sometime in mid febuary....... Its hard to believe that their company opened up in late 2004!!!!!!

I shot the CR337 at 4 Seasons Archery in Ann Arbor on Saturday. I am not sure if the Cardiac is out or not I just saw it online at Ross's site Saturday night. Sorry for any confusion.

I really miss read your post phensway. Sorry for that. Thanks for the info. I was not sure if the Cardiac was out or not. From the website it looks like what I want. A short accurate bow with moderate speed. I am partial to matthews but that Ross really reminded me of my old LX. I still want to shoot the new hoyt vectrix. Any comments on that Bow?

The CR337 is a nice bow . I wouldn't be that concerned with the longer length . I think ATA length is overated . I used to shoot a 45" ATA compounds out of treestands without ever hitting a limb .

Agree TN, I think they're a lot more forgiving, EVEN if they have a short BH. That's why I always say if Mathews came out with a new bow similar to the LX, I'd dump my SB and buy two. Why do you think a lot of pro shooters shoot a long ATA?

I think longer bows are better shooters, the cr337 is really smooth, but the weight plays an important factor for me.....

Agree with the weight comment too phens. People take a lot of these things for granted when buying a bow. Most are just looking for speed and a big name instead of specs , shootability, feel or fit.

They are sweet shooters who have a larg following on the field. Personally I like a heavier bow. Helps stabilize faster for me.
