Well I checked three different spots on the Saginaw today and it is not looking good yet for ice. First spot I checked was at Zilwaukee Launch. There was ice on the sides of the river but that was it. There was a boat fishing last night that broke through the shore ice. Hog Alley and a little north of there was more ice but the channel was not iced over in most spots. Third sot I checked was south of the middle grounds in Bay City and found there to have the same results with the channel not being iced over yet. The ice is not coming fast enough, We need some more single digit temps.
