Greetings,
I am new here - posted my "Introduction" on the main page yesterday. I have trapped for 54 years, and I am not new to cyberspace, but I am having some difficulty navigating this trapping forum. It does not appear to be that user friendly to me for some reason. Need some teaching from the resident experts after raising my hand:
(1) - How can I access any and all previous posts, other than the most current ones posted on the opening page? Let's say, for the past month or two.
(2) - Is there an archives tucked in here somewhere that I did not see.
(3) - Posting pictures: is photobuckets.com the main vehicle for that here?
Those are the main concerns for now. Any considerations to elevate my learning curve would be most appreciated. Thank you.
Regards,
Jonathan

Welcome!
I can only be helpful with your first question.
At the bottom of the page you should be able to go to differnt pages of threads. There is a search option on the top of the page if you are looking for something specific.

The "Basic Trapping Techniques" forum (this one) is only about a week old. The main Trapping and Varmit Hunting forum is older, and if you scroll to the bottom of the page (while in that forum) you will see the pages to scroll back to. As was mentioned, there is also a search function at the top of all pages.
(2) - Is there an archives tucked in here somewhere that I did not see.
See above.
(3) - Posting pictures: is photobuckets.com the main vehicle for that here?
As a registered user you are allowed photo storage here also. Go to top of any of the pages. Find the 'brownish' bar going across screen with white writing inside. Click on 'Photo Gallery' & Main Gallery index. A new gold color bar will appear and click on 'My Photos'. From there you should be able to figure out how to upload them.
Also, Fill out your profile ... helps everyone know location etc. Click on 'User CP' (on the main brown navigation bar ... top of page). Then on left side of new page click on 'Edit Profile' ... fill out as much info as you are comfortable giving out.
Hope this helps and welcome to the site!

i would suggest posting all pics through this site if possible, if not photobucket will hold any size pic if you need
at the bottom of the main page there is a page number setup there, page 1 will be highlighted, it will let you pic many pages to go back up to like 30 pages
sounds like you will have a ton of good info to contribute, i look forward to hearing some of your stories
make sure you post up anything else you may be having problems w/ or if any of this doesnt make sense, this about the only thing i can contribute on this forum, otherwise i just soak up everyone elses information

Most helpful in jump starting my olfactory senses to the whiff of the lures at this set. I'll keep sniffing around - if I run into major considerations beyond my capacities, I'll raise my hand in class again. Thank you kindly.

Welcome to the forum!
As you have found out we have a great bunch of guys on this site, who are more than happy to lend a hand.
We try to give all our new trappers and varmint hunters as much help as possible. Your vast experience will definitely be a great asset to all our members.
One suggestion, please turn off you bold print, if you can, because it will make it easier for us to read you posts. Thanks!
