I am not one to tell a fella what to do, so I won't. Just make sure we don't have to spend tax payer dollars to find your body:D

Any other details? Where did you go out from? How far? How deep of water? I wont be out anytime soon but would like to be prepared for when the ice is safe enough for me.

I've done that before........I don't anymore though because I fell through once and froze my butt off!! Glad you had a good day though. Just BE CAREFUL!!! I'll be out on the lakes Monday.;)

Many members here remember some of the heated first ice discussios we have had here. I am always in favor of the coast guard not being able to charge us. But lets not tempt Darwin here fella's. Saginaw bay is big water fishing. It isn't fishig on a little inland lake. That Bay can turn on you,and nobody may be able to get to you fast enough to save you. If you are going to chance it I at least hope you are wearing a survival suit,or some sort of flotation device.

Like they say X, "No brains, No Headaches".
Glad to here that you did so well, finally a little ice to keep us entertained. I will be venturing out this weekend too. My spud, bucket, minnows, and two rods. Shoot me a p.m. if you're interested in hooking into some fish.

Be alittle more specific. I dont want to know your hot spot , just the body of water you were on.
