Hi All,
What is a good bait for coyote or bobcat?

Confused already!:dizzy:

If you're talking about trapping, try this... http://www.fntpost.com/product_detail.php?cid=&product_id=60

If you're talking hunting, beaver would be good..........check with some other guys though because I'm not familiar with the regs on that.

With a planned Yote hunt this weekend w/ my son...my plan was to use a couple dead snowshoe rabbits combined w/ Rabbit squeeling calls.

Does anyon have any thoughts on that?

I do know guys that enter the Predator hunt here in the U.P. do use bait
when huntng Yotes...not sure if it is legal, but must be if they do it.But would be good to check w/DNR I suppose.

Unless you have bait piles the animals are already using no need to use any animals for bait. If you want a visual attractor try a wing or feathers tied with a string to a stick. Punch the stick in the ground 25 yards down wind from you and let mother nature blow it around.

We use gut piles from deer season to get the dogs to stay in the area.
