My Garmin Blue Chart shows it at N42 06.037 W086 29.952 in 13 ft of
water. I have not verified this for myself but usually the blue chart is
pretty accurate. It shows the buoys at the cook plant right dead on.

Is the inlet and outlet in the same location?

Ben,

Take a trip out there and get real close.....Like right on top of it. the coast guard will let you know real quick where the intakes and the outgoes are. Honest, they did that to me a couple of years ago during the brown blast!

Why would the coasties care about a water treatment plant intake?

I may have to do just that...since the lake isn't going to freeze up anytime soon. This week may get the ramps, but I think it's going to warm up again...may melt it off and allow a quick sneak onto the pond.

I've never been chased off the pumping station by the coast guard, may be confusing that with the cook plant.

Sorry, your right Ben,

confused with the Cook Plant......

The treatment pant is .6 miles south, 2-way me with the intakes and I have them in my GPS. I will be home Thusrday as I will home from California by then.

The coast gaurd is concerned because of terrorists. They could contaminait the intake water with something. Same reason you can't get near a nuke plant it is a target.
