Pentwater/White Lake

I was thinking about fishing either Pentwater lake and/or White lake this weekend for steelhead. I have never tried this before and I was wondering if anyone here would care to share some info. Feel free to PM me if you would like. I'm going stir crazy without any ice and it looks like its going to be too rough on the big lake for my 14ft. Thought I'd try something new.
