I'd like to get the 10 footers for the beach. I'm thinking about getting these for someone else to use if I take somebody with me steelhead fishing. Anybody know what the action is on the 10 footer. You can't beat 10 year warranty and 24.99. Its fiberglass so it won't break like G-loomis and Croix do in extreme..... extremely cold temps. I'm not knockn croix and loomis I think they are fine river rods.

ha ha that's funny. I just bought a 10 ft for pier fishing. I tried it out on saturday it's pretty nice. Lots of backbone for big hooksets. But it's quite sensitive prolly mod action. I have a 9'6 st croix and the woopin stick works just as good for surf and pier fishing You won't be disappointed.
Carp when did you get a great mind? I alway thought it was twisted.

Ken, are these a Cabela's exclusive or do/can you handle these? Thinking about a 10' for steelheading as well. Any thoughts? Maybe a couple of shorter one's for walleye and crappie fishing up on Houghton Lake!

I'm thinking about getting a couple of the rods for surf fishing. They have a sale right now as a combo with a saltstriker real for $50. Looks like a darn good deal even though the real is considered a Salt Water real. Check it out.

Dang, with those blue rods you will be able to tell at a glance whether it is your rod or some other guys getting hit from all the way down the pier or beach! On second thought, if all you guys get um maybe not

I think its a Cabelas line of rods. They should be great beach rods.

I emailed Cabelas to find out what the action was and they are all slow action. I prefer a slow action rod for the beach/pier. For the action, power and length, you can't find a better deal. Its made of fiber glass too so it won't break under realy cold temps. It would be a good carp rod too.
