Went out Sunday with my new SST3, and I must say that is the best pin i've ever used. I put it on an 11'6" Batson rod that I built up and I could hardly tell there was a reel on it. For anyone who is looking to buy a pin and not sure what to get, I would strongly think about buying the Raven SST3

I have the SST3 Titanium and love it.

Do you mean the reel was "really light" or that it balanced that rod really well, because I have found, "light weight" center pins to be less then steller casters. It seems they "Center Pin" needs some weight to it for stability.

Oh no, the pin is really light, and I had no trouble in casting it( even though i was on the rogue which is not very big). but it felt like i could throw it if i wanted to.
