Here is the list of guys that want in. We need to get 3 more to give us 10. As far as shipping arrangements, they can be mailed to me and I can send them out from there. I would say that everyone should include a couple bucks to cover the shipping back out. Any thoughts to this fellas. Also what kind of colors are you guys going to use. I will have a metallic emeraldgreen and gold harness to give out.

I dont even know what a harness swap is?????

In a nutshell, You get say "X" people in the swap. Everyone ties "X" crawler harnesses and mails them to the "swap meister". He then divides them up and mails back one of everyone else's harnesses. Nice way to get ideas and see other peoples work.

Before joining swap read Rules any questions should be directed to the swapmeister.
Swapmeister needs to have your Email address when joining swap

1. (Toe tag harnesses) each harness will need to have a small piece of paper attached to the bend of the hook with the swappers name on it. (This makes it easy for swapmister to divide up prier to being sent back)

2. Harnesses will be sent to swapmister (with a stamped self-addressed envelope) (Do not put postage money in envelope)

3. Flies will be mailed on or before deadline date.

Sounds like tubejib is going to be the swapmeister. Any updates to those rules tubejig?

tubejig
01-08-2007, 11:30 AM
Nice work kbkrause, rules look about right to me, the self addressed stamped envelope is a good deal, never crossed my mind. I will not have mine completed until I receive my component order in the mail, which should be in about a week. Until we get to ten people, I am going to leave the ship by date on stand by, and my mailing address will be sent out then as well. Sound fair fellas????

I mainly fish lake erie, wondering where everybody else fishes? Depending on where people fish will dictate what kind of harness i will be tying. Most likely will be tying something with Char/purple seems to work every where. Just wondering on components to use.

By the looks of the group its a ton of different water systems, from Erie to Sag Bay, and everything in between. Tie what you like, thats what I am going to do.

Do we make one extra for steve like the jig swaps?
So the total harnesses would be thirteen?

Paul, I am sure the rest of the guys wouldn't mind an extra. So you will be in. I will need all of you to make 11, 1 of them will go to steve. I will pm my address to all of you and they will need to be in the mail by the 25th, this should let everyone have plenty of time to make em. I am looking forward to see what everyone has.

75% of the time on Erie we'll run ours on 1-2oz in-line weights. Sometimes when it is rough out we'll switch it up to snap weights to lessen the surge factor. Out there most people would be shocked at how High you can sometimes catch fish.
