Hey guys,

I know of what boat ramps are on the south end of the river from my lake charts, but do not know what is open (oil slick), or what are resident only, or public ramps.

If some of you downriver guys see this before morning, I would appreciate any reply. Thanks.

Fischman,

This is what I know for sure Lake Erie Metro is open, and the is a tourney fishing out of there tomorrow, MWT. Elizabeth park may be open in the am, depends on the progress on the cleanup, 80% sure, that from a Wayne County Sheriff (marine division). Wyandotte Municiple is open. Futher south all of the Lake Erie ramps are open and seemed to be oil free, ie. Bolles Harbor, Luna Pier. North of Wyandotte I'm not sure that was all the miles I wanted to drive today, I'm taking my son 1shot and his buddy fishing in the a.m. will post results.

Thanks walleyeman. We too are heading out in the morning, and will post our results.....first time fishing the Detroit River, so I am not totally familiar with launch locations, and didn't want to run around like a lost chicken.....your info is appreciated, and helpful.

BTW, we will be on Channel 68 and my boat name is "Sandy Bottoms".....likely to be in the Steel Mill area, but may cruise farther south if things are slow.

GOOD LUCK! ;)
