was out the night of friday.....4-12-02. Got out late, around 6 oclock. We launched at lake arie metro park, no problems what so ever. As we launched, they did have 3 of the slips closed, cleaning oil off of the cement. We got out around 6:20, made one tack, had 2 fish in 10 min. Then the lightning started. Short night on the river, but the fish are there and they are willing. I cannot stress this enough..you have to tip with minnows. I also found it interesting that i cought both fish on perch minnows, rather than the larger blues i had. The fish are still looking for some wiggle in that bait. Oh yeah, chartruese was the key yesterday.....number 7's. Going veryyyyyy slow. I sticked below edison, never had a chance to make it up there, but i noticed the water was clearer up there. Most of the jiggers were filled in that clear water. I sticked back in the dirtier. Hope this helps guys. Oh yeah.BTW, there is a tourney going on this morning at lake erie metropark, personally am waiting untill tonight to go back out. One more thing, as we were getting soaked coming back in, we noticed all of the slips were open except one. Didint see a jigger catch one, but there was a report of a 15+ today that came into bottom line. Seeya out there guys, good luck
