Almost twice a week in the summer I go to Stoney Creek, Bald Mountain, Bloomer, Pontiac, or on the snowmobile trails up north. I already have 95 for this season. Most in Stoney Creek since Stoney dries quickly in the spring time. I ride about 15-25 miles each time I go out to ride.

I could not tell you. I think it might be between 50-75 but when you get a car, you rather do other stuff. I will beable to tell you in a few months.

The non-cement is what got me. I live in Essexville and we have the rail-trail. (It's a set of old railroad tracks that's been blacktopped.) Very nice to ride on, but not off-cement. As far as I know, there aren't any trails like that in this area; does anybody here know otherwise for the Bay City area?

theres some cool trails out at the state park that go thru that marsh area into some woods with some tall towers to climb up on an see for miles. go check that place out. an its free to get into the state park if you are riding a bike.

Two years and 20 pounds ago, I was riding around 100-120 road miles and around 20 miles off road each month. Unfortunately, as the kids got more involved in things, I had to give up some riding time and then I started having back problems. I don't think I rode 100 miles all of last year. :(
But things are looking up. I've already got around 30 miles in and it's only April.

I don't really ride dirt that much anymore. I mostly ride around town.

Well....I didn't start riding mtn bikes until AFTER I left MI for Las Vegas. Over the last 8 years there, I probably averaged over 500 miles a year on the mtn bike and over 10000 mi on the road, training to race the mtn bike!!
Now that I've just moved to Chattanooga, TN, I'm learning a whole new set of places to ride...nothing like moving to a new state and finding out they've got great mtn biking!! That usually equates to finding out they have great hunting as well!! :D :D
