This is one monsterous hog. If watch the video through its entire length you can see how wide it is. To me this looks like a domestic that escaped based on the length of its nose.

From what I heard it only takes a few months (or weeks) for a domestic pig to turn into a "wild boar" (coarse fur, tusks, etc.)

National Geographic had a documentary on Hogzilla in the picture above (also from Alabama). The pig was not butchered up, it was buried in that hole you see in that picture. The National Geographic team dug it up, measured it and did DNA tests on it. The pig was only 7 years old and measured about 8 1/2 long, it weighed approximately 800 pounds, the tusks had a full curl. The team was amazed at the DNA results for it was not a Feral Pig (domestic pig) that had escaped from some farm, but it was a hybrid part domestic pig and wild boar.

From what I understand, when a hog gets that big, it is the nastiest thing you can eat. They are so rank, that you cant even stand to be in the kitchen while it is cooking.
