Hey guys just wondering what is the best campground to take a three year old boy camping at. I am looking to take a weeks vacation this summer and we would like to take him camping. I want to go to the Porkiepine Mts. but don't know what there is for kids his age to do. He loves the outdoors but I just don't think he is up to a hike yet. I have thought about taking him to zoo also and was wondering if anybody knows about a good zoo with a campground close by and other activities for a youngster. Thanks for your help.

Big Game,
KOA in port Huron is pretty nice and really good for the kid's I have alot of fond memories there. Alot of room for kid's to roam and a ton for kid's to do. How old are your kid's. With that info, I could help a little more.

hey there big game , i too have a three year old and we havew been taking him camping since he was feeding off of the same bottle as me. A lot of campgrounds have playgrounds, and pools, beaches, i have even been to one that has a par three golf course on it. The koa in port huron has banana bike rentals, old fashion store, train rides, movie theatre, bumper boats, go-cart race track. here are some sites you find interesting to help you out on your search, also black river is very close by and mill creek is just about a ten minute drive, and ten or fifteen minutes to st. clair river and lake huron.
