Yes, I am going, I'll be there at 2pm sharp. I am driving over from Muskegon, I have to be in Troy at 1 so it'll be perfect timing. I am hoping to find the perfect walleye rod/reel and maybe a sweet deal on some Rapala's.

I saw on the website if you bring a fishing pole to donate on Friday you get in for free.

I checked on the website and just a reminder that it says a rod & reel combo.

It got me thinking that a rod with a working reel would work even if it is not a matched combination.

Don't forget the canned food drive will also get people in on Friday. I already have a vendor's badge but will probably bring down some canned goods anyways.

Food Drive - The Ultimate Fishing Show has partnered with Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger for a huge opening night food drive. Bring a sack of non-pershable food items (minimum of 4 pounds or 6 cans or boxes) to the Rock Financial Showplace on opening night, Friday, January 12th and get in for FREE. Since the focus of the show is everything fishing, MSAH is asking the public to bring cans of tuna fish and feed the needy right here in our area. The food will be collected by volunteers from local conservation organizations and donated to the Red Cross and area food banks.
