Whats a sunfish sail boat?? I have one in the ceiling of my shed. It was there when I bought the house. It looks like a little one man sail boat. There are a couple of small holes on the styrafoam, but I'm guessing a little filler would take care of them.
I dont know anything else about it, as it has been there for 1 year since I bought the place.
I live south of Hudson (ohio border) if you want to come take a look at it.
Price?? Your gas money to come look at it!!

Captian Jay - thanks for the reply, but what I'm looking for is about a 10 to 12' - fiberglass sailboat. If I were closer, I would still come and have a look though.:D

Capt. Jay-
What you have is a snark sailboat. They make a great lightweight duck boat. I had a white one that I used in beaver ponds for years. (looked like a big birch log) shot a ton of birds out of it.

I'm sure you're to far away, but I just saw one for sale about 1/2 mile from my house. It was on the front lawn of a house on the street that I used to live on. They were having a garage sale and I stopped and looked because there was another boat there too.
It's pretty nice. It's hull is white, fairly flat as opposed to the deeper "boat style" but it definitely ISN'T a sailboard. It said it has a capacity of 3 persons or 450 lbs. It has a nice green/white sale with a Quaker State logo on it.
I'm in Rochester Hills (about 20 miles N. of Detroit)
If you think you might get over this way and want some info, let me know. I can get you a phone number.
AHHH yes, Sunfish and Sailfish, It was amazing what would happen on those things in lower LSC on a calm summer night in the early 70's.........:D

Thanks Rookie-1, I'm trying to head off my wife from buying a new one! I can't believe they get $3,500 for a 12 foot boat with no motor or rod holders:D

I actually have a sunfish. It has been hanging up in my garage for quite some time. I use to race them as a kid. I have two sails for it. It has all new tackle that goes with it. Give me a page or email if you are interested.
