There were 4 inches of ice this past weekend on the manistique lakes in curtis which is about an hour west of the bridge. I don't know how the ice held up after the rain we got there on sunday, I left Monday morning and did not get a chance to check the ice after the rain.

Just got off www.baydenoc.com web site. Foot traffic only nad spotty in some areas. Forecast 40's and rain the next few days. Does not look very good till next week maybe.:( :(

There's about 4 inches of ice on LBDN north of Gladstone. I'd recommend foot travel only until after this weekend (weather man better not be lying!) I was out this evening and landed 5 nice perch and missed several. Walleye fishing has been slow, mostly due to not being able to get out to deeper water.

Most of the guys fishing inland lakes near the Wisconsin border are reporting 8 to 10 inches of good ice. Good luck this weekend and be safe.
