What groups are left out there that are FOR baiting? There can't be a single organization that isn't against it other than the DNR and NRC? If, in fact, they are even in favor of it. Can anyone tell me who or what would be the hold-up on getting rid of the source of many of our problems, both biologically and socially?

How about politics?

I neglected to mention $$$$- economics- Up here in the NE Mi. TB Infected Zone most sporting goods stores sell deer bait.
I was born and raised in Lake County where poverty was the only viable industry. I assume that sporting goods stores in that area sell deer bait.

Strangely enough, none of us do. Kings Sport Center nor Ed's sells bait. We don't (speaking only for BBT) sell any because when guys buy 20 bags at a crack, I doubt they're putting out 5 gallons. We did sell bait about 6 years ago. As far as the politics go, you need two sides to tango. My question is, who or what makes up the "in favor" of baiting side? Seems like most customers I talk to also wish baiting was history. A few party stores selling carrots sure don't have any political power.

You and your competitors are to be commended .
The answer to your question as to who is in favor of baiting would seem to be perfectly obvious.
We are legion, over 700,000 strong.

I don`t think it is the sporting goods stores selling bait as much as it is the gas stations and party stores. I know of one gas station in Oil City that sells shelled and ear corn year round.
