Lakemaster Promaps

I just bought myself a new GPS and chip for christmas and I was going through and transfering waypoints from my old one into the new one and I noticed some of the waypoints weren't jiving with the lakemaster mapping. I got out my Saginaw Bay Hotspots map and checked the coordinates for Light #1 which are 43 48.404 and W83 42.045. Now when I move my curser to Light #1 on the GPS it shows it as N43 48.331 and W83 43.144 which is about a mile differant than the Hotspots map location, if I'm not mistaken. Have any of you had similar problems? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? How is the lakemaster chip out on the Bay? I hope good because that is the main reason I purchased the chip. I'm really hoping that the Hotspot #'s are incorrect. Any help will be greatly appreciated, THANX!

I'm not familiar with these chips but I have physically checked a few of the listed co ordinates on the Lake Erie "Hot Spots" and found them to be pretty good. Of course I can't get right on top of some of them due to shallow water etc. but the buoys seem to check out. Maybe you'l have to do the same once the hard water is gone.
