Got up to my dad's cabin in eastport late x-mas night.tue. about 10 a.m got the kid's [daughter 10,step-son 5]and charlie the beagle in the truck and headed up to the big mac.NOW,I was thinking NO SNOW,WHITE RABBIT'S,EASY PICKIN'S.Well 5 min. into the hunt, charlie got on a hot track.I got me and the kid's on a trail and waited,after about 15 min. the rabbit crossed the trail[about 90 yd.'s from us]so we moved closer to that spot.20-30 min. later the rabbit crossed agin[the spot we were at the first time]To make a long story short ,we saw that rabbit 7 time's in almost 3 hr.'s never closer than 70 yd.'s[wish I had the 22 with me]so, 3 hr.'s no rabbit,1 great run for charlie,1 afternoon in the outdoor's with the kid's!! A GREAT DAY INDEED!!!!!:lol:
