got out this week on a small pond by traverse city for some gill fishing did pretty good and it felt great to be on the ice~:D

I was up to Cadillac yesterday (Thur) and there was no ice to be found on either lake and there were several boats out fishing...................:confused:

there was about 4 inches but by shore about 1.5 you had to be real careful getting on it

lol now there will be about a 1000 guys up there on 1.5 to 4 inches of ice. especially if half the people that see this post are going through icefishing withdrawals like me.

im glad i got out once before the 2 inches melted lol i should be good for a week or so before i begin thinking of going north to find ice lol:yikes:
