Mountain Feist Squirrel dogs?
Anyone know of a breeder in Michigan that has a litter coming anytime before summer?
PM me or post their contact info.
Thanks

trout,

There's a couple of guys who run those dogs and post over on the Upland/Dogs forum, so ya might try over there too.

I think "Jumpshootin" is one?? They're pretty cool dogs. Good Luck.

Trout you can click on the link in my signature and go to my website. My partner is probably going to breed the little black female named "Nini" to the gray colored male named "Oscar" this spring. Not sure if any will be available but you can contact him. I do have a couple of young started females for sale if you are interested you can give me a call.

I don't know of any other breeders that will have puppies this year but if I hear of them I'll let you know.

I don't breed dogs at all. I just a pup from the best that can be found. Check out the dogs that English and his partner have. I've seen them in the woods and they are the real deal.

That Jumpshootin' Jeff saw this thread and timed in. He's a guy on the site who would know. He can talk feists and curs all day long.

You could get ahold of Tanner, a member of the site. He's the guy that did the MOOD segment on hunting behind squirrel dogs last year.

Tanner might know of some feist but he has curs not feist.

Ya I know what he has, I've hunted behind them. I merely suggested that he might be able to point Kirk in the right direction. :)

Trout,
If you want to get a look at some squirrel dogs you may want to come to the fun hunt that the Michigan Squirrel Dog Association is having on Jan. 6, 2007, 8:00a.m. at the Central Michigan Sportsmans's Club located a few miles east of Stanton, Mi..
There will be curs & feist running there. Someone is bound to have a line on a litter or two, or who will be breeding for spring pups.
