Well, some of you may have been waiting for the ice to come. I actually went out twice this week to catch some fish.

I didn't expect to catch any fish because at this time of the year fish are supposed to be lethargic and don't move too much. I just wanted to enjoy the balmy weather.

Instead, I was suprized that I caught all kinds of fish. Although most of them were on the smaller side, it was fun to pull off fish left and right for three hours.

One thing I can tell you is that fish are very active; they are eager to take anything you throw into them.

Here are some pictures I took:

I kept several crappies, perch, and bluegills.

Try some spots where you fish in the spring time. I think the warmer water makes fish hungry and actively search for food.

I even saw a school of bait fish jumping out of water to escape some prey.
