WIN A FULLY GUIDED HUNT TO OHIO- BEST POT OF CHILI WINS!

Grand River Conservation Club 7345 Lyons rd. Portland Mi, 48875.

Saturday, Jan. 20th starting and 3:00pm several co-ops will be hosting an educational event and chili cook off. This is a FREE event to the public.

Bob Ducharme, Regional Director for the QDMA will be talking about the QDMA's mission and where we are at in MI.

Tony Smith, Eaton co. QDMA, will be talking about successful co-ops and what it takes to get there.

I will be looking for people to join our Clinton/Ionia co. branch and especially looking for individuals who want to get invovled with branch activities.

Clinton, Ionia and Eaton county local co-ops will be setting up a table of their own to show where they are at since they started QDM. We have approx. six co-ops who will be represented who have been around for as little as six months to others who are in their sixth year.

The seminars will start at 3:00 p.m and the chili cook off will follow around 6:00 or soon after. Judges for the cook off will be hunters who harvested the largest doe and buck in their respective co op's. There will be chili for everyone to sample, but there will be no food or drinks provided but you may bring your own. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and some other prizes given away.

If you are in a local co-op from the area and I have not talked to you and you are interested in setting up a table, please pm me.

That is a great idea. They ought to have a venison chili cook-off at the national QDMA convention.
