Garter Snake Sighting

I know, not usually a big deal to see a garter snake in michigan, but it was on campus--don't usually see much besides ducks and squirrels around here. Totally brightened my day to see some real nature among the concrete jungle.

Howdy-
We were out at Stoney over Easter weekend to play some disc golf. My 8 yr. old son, Connor, lost all interest when he spied a garter snake. They were everywhere! At one point he had three in his hands, and was trying to figure out how to grab more....
