Hey bros, got a question for ya. I purchased the bluechart CD-ROM software for a Etrex Legend Cx. I'm trying to install the software into my PC but I keep running into issues and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here. Here's what I got.....the GPS came with a Mapsource trip and waypoint manager CD. So I installed that into my computer. That installed the drivers for the unit I guess. So I should be good to go to install the Blue Chart, right? Well, when I put the Blue chart CD into my CD drive, nothing happens. I keep waiting for some sort of Installation wizard to pop up on my desktop, but nothing happens. Anyone got any suggestions as to what it is that I'm missing here? Any help is most appreciated fellas, thanks in advance.:chillin:

I'm guessing that since you'll be repeatedly inserting the CD to edit/view your mapping - there's a high likelyhood that there's a "setup.exe" file you have to MANUALLY double click to run.... Browse the CD contents & look - also a folder with documentation should also be on the disc.... I'm a Lowrance kinda guy - but I speak PC fairly well........
Give it a try - or open windows explorer & do a screenshot of the CD contents and we'll see what we see!
