I am going up to Harbor Springs the weekend before New Years and was wondering if there is any ice up there?

I am not too familiar with the area so if anyone knows of a better lake to fish in the area please let me know.

Thanks

Click on Lake Michigan and it will provide a visual of the West side of the state. But to answer your specific question......Burt is a great lake to fish, with easy access, but you might want to pack your waders as there is absolutely no ice at this time. Tight Lines.

I am planning on going up there on Dec 28 so if anyone can let me know of any ice that would be great.

The forcast predicts 37 for high and 27 for low next week so maybe it can create enough ice over night.
