I have had enough steelhead action tolast me until next fall, and don't really care for the crowded streams. I decided to hit the holy waters with some streamers today. My buddy Phil and I weren't really expecting much for a couple of reasons, First there was a heavy snow squall on the way up around higgins lake and second we have never streamer fished before. Luckly the snow stopped after an hour or so. Covered some new pig water that should be great for hex and drys or whatever. We were hitting everthing hard and finally it payed off in about a 15min span i landed a 13" and 15" brown. Phil turned one and i turned another one. Then nothing the rest of the day. We running the streamers low and slow with a twitch here and there. Actually the two fish i landed were holding in about a foot of water tight to lumber.
