Hey you guys,
Anybody still get any trout out of Pickerel lake through the ice? How about anything else? How about the adjoining Crooked Lake? Thanks all.:chillin:

Found some ice at Brighton recreation area right of chilson road. chilson pond, drove by there this afternoon and that small lake was locked. Going tomorrow to ck it out with the old spud :D Its a very shallow lake so with overnite cold temps I'm hoping for the best. I will advise tomorrow on conditions.

Only have caught trout in the summer on pickeral at night. Tried a couple times on ice during the day with no luck. And once at night with nothing. Crooked has gills and stunted bass, I have never heard of the trout making it over there. Access to Pickeral has been restricted and they put the kaibosh on the boat launch. The only way to get in there in the summer is launching in crooked and taking the canals through to Pickeral.
