Fished below berrien springs form about 9-2. only caught one spawned out hen about 10lbs on a gold hot-n-tot. had another hit but missed it. o well. lucky duck only had one fish and so did sea king. river was high and muddy. will be going to fish on shore today and mybe hit he dow. Will report when i get back

Went one for four today, on some beds using corkeys. I I got one male in but the rest were hard to bring in with the little hook I was using, and the current I was fishing in from shore. There are fish, you just have to find them. :D

hey mich buckmaster,

were you at berrien springs this afternoon? if so were you the guy that had the silver fish on a stringer that said there are some fish here to a man sitting on shore. If that was you, you were talking to my dad. I was stright out from him fishing. we didnt do anything today. got real mad at all the snags and all the line in the river. couldnt beleve how bad it was.


Also fished the dow.
I didnt have any luck, but my dad did catch a 10 inch brooktrout on a orange and silver hot-n-tot.:eek: I am hopping the fishing gets better soon

fished the Joe on 4-6-02.Water is terrible, about a foot higher than last week and very,VERY dirty!:( About 4-6 inches visability!
Only found a couple suckers to end the river season on the Raft!

I am sure there are still steelies and browns in the system,but the water is like coffee with cream!:mad: Temp was 42-43 degrees, and lots of trash and grass in the water.

Time to change the ole girl over to Lake fishin:(
