thinking about guideing some ice fishing trips?

is there some special thing i have to do, is there some kind of license
you must hold?
can use some good imformation, from some of Pro's out there

Go for it. Don't have to do anything unless you are using a boat or something that travels on water that is not frozen.

Correct, Inland Lake Pilots License for inland waters, USCG Captains License and Charter Boat License for a Great Lakes, connecting waters, and navigable waters under USCG jurisdiction.

I have the info for the Great Lake charter capt. Were would I find the info on Inland Lakes Pilot License?

Local DNR Office. Basically you get the application fill it out go have a phtsical at you doctor and have him sign the application, mail in $30 with the application and make arrangements to go to the office and take the inland pilots test. There is no special material supplied to take the test but reading up on the marine laws will help. The office has the book or you can read/print the book out on-line at;
