a little help please

frustration is setting in. I scanned in some pictures and it sent them to my adobe acrobat photo deluxe program. when I saved them it put ex: fish.PPD it will not allow me to upload these pics cause according to the call letters PPD its not a photo file how do I get this changed around to allow me to upload?????

Is there anyway to go from the scanner to a folder to make less steps and cut out adobe?

You do not want to "Save."
You should have an "Export" or "Send to" command in the File menu.
When you select Export it should allow you to select what type of file you wish to export it to (bmp, jpg etc.)

See if it works. I will check back in.


The answer to the second question, is that it depends on the software that you have to acquire images from the scanner. some programs allow you to scan and save as a file step. You should be able to acquire (from scanner) and then export from Adobe.

I checked one of my other computers that has Adobe Photo Deluxe.
Try "File/Send To/File Format" then look for a drop-down box below the file name to select ".jpg" for the file extension.
