Some guidance would be appreciated. New to the Lake Erie fishery and heading down to Luna Pier this weekend. Anyone have any tips and tools of the trade to offer a newbie? I understand that the protocol is night fishing with plugs for walleye, but know little more. A proactive thanks for the help. RedSoxFan

I see now that I posted my question in the wrong spot, but thanks for taking the time to reply. Redd Head, who also posts here, and I will be part of a group of 4 guys out there Friday and Saturday nights. Good luck.

if you got waders or a boat bring them.

the best spot is right where the pier bends got out chest level in waders and in a boat 40-100 yds from the bend line up with the second light on the pier
