Does anyone hunt with a Keller Pendulum Sight? I like the sight during daylight hours, but there is no way I can see the little bead in low light through my peep. even with the beed glowing. Anyone having this problem?

oh yeh! Missed several low light bucks with this sight. Great in the daylight, but terrible at dusk/dawn. I even tryed painting glow paint on from the fishing dept. That didn't work! Went to an another brand pendulm sight that had fiberoptics and love it. It is right on and consistantilly too. Have never shot it from the ground, but from a tree...I have never missed at different heights and yardages. I don't know why Keller dosen't go to fiberoptics. They were probably the first pendulm out but have now been bypassed by other companies who know hunter needs. Good luck!

I use a Keller and have arrowed many, many deer with it. But as you mention, it does have problems at low light. What fiber-optic pendulum did you switch to? I'm easily persuaded to try something different. Thanks!!

To be honost with you, I don't remember the brand. Purchased it at Gander Mountain though. Cabela's have several too that I've seen in the catelog and some at my local pro-shop (Hicks). I use the clear walled one, again, to let in more light for the fiberoptics. I can easily shoot it until dark. Some people don't like pendilum sites, but I personally like them, especially this one.

I like your positive words about it. The next time that you grab your bow can you see if there is a name on it? Thanks. It's always easier to make a leap on a new product if you have a reference that has used it!

I have a Kellar as well. Have had it on my bow for three years now, and after the first year, I have put the pin in a fixed position. Not sure what I ever did wrong with the pendulum, but I swear it would stick in one spot until you really dropped low (as in a close shot) and then it would swing. I had lots of problems with it and its hard to see in low light.
I still have it on but use it as a fixed sight. I have arrowed four bucks in three years this way, but it defeats the purpose of the sight. I'm going back to fiber optics.
