Hello All,
I recently had a new string put on my bow and the guy at the shop told me that I need to get a new bow because my limps are starting to warp. I have a Alpine Sidewinder (2002) and am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to their bow? Can this happen? I guess I have never heard of this happening and I tried a couple of searches to find out any information and have not had success at that. I'm a little leary of the guy at the shop because he kept trying to get me to buy a new bow & telling me that mine's not any good. I'm not an expert by any means at this and thought I would turn to those that are! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

oh yeah, it shoots good groups out to 30 yards but after that it's all over the board.(Could be me)

Call K&D outdoors. Talk to Ken.

get a second opinion then call alpine. they will take care of it. i just went through this with a cracked limb on mine. sent it back and they replaced everything but the riser free of charge except shipping it to them and that only cost 15 bucks.

take it to a alpine dealer and if they say they are, then alpine should send new ones and if they don`t i would change brands because all the other companies will.

I really appreciate hearing that! Thanks so much. I'll get another opinion and take it from there. If people are interested, I'll give updates of seeing if Alpine,(assuming it's warped limps) backs their product! Again, thanks!

This happened to my brothers alpine a few years ago. It took a little talking, but they finally replaced the limbs. His bow was a few years old and it had some special carbon graphite limbs or some such thing (can't remember now), appparently that is why Alpine hesitated replacing them. He had to pay for new string and cables at the dealer. A good dealer should do the leg work for you on this. We went through Jays where he bought the bow from.

i have a stealth force and had the draw length changed requiring the cam to be swaped, i had a shop that is know out of buisness do this!i later called alpine(this year) the said the same thing send the bow out to us we will take care of it . i wish i would have just done that in the first place.i would have saved money, alot of money and had my bow truly professionally set up!my opinion is send it in when you can it will be well worth it!

I also can remember quite a few people here who had alpine limbs twist and alpine gave them a really hard time about replacing them.
