what size jig head do you use on the sag. river

3/8 or 5/16 works for me unless the water is high and fast.

1/8 th for low/no current, 1/4 for medium current/light wind, 3/8 med. hvy. current/ windy, 1/2 or 3/4 oz. for those floodwaters & Galeforce winds. Hope this helps. Bob

Those days you may need an full ounce jig.:lol: But Bob hit it right on the head. It is best too carry an assortment of sizes and colors.
