Fried Fillets

The day started off with what I thought was poor bait, very small minnows.:(
Then, I tried one spot in front of Metro for 2 minutes before I decided to head for Canada. The ride was very rough and wet, bouncing through the 2 -4 footers.:( What happened to the 1 - 2 footers that were predicted?
Decided to hit an old waypoint in the middle of the lake and let my clothes dry. Boy was I rewarded, ended up with a limit of 50 very nice fish from this spot.:) The clothes dried and the wind cooperated for a great ride home!

:) :) :) Way to go there fried fillets! Did you fish in that gin clear water near the weather buoy??? We ventured a bit further than you did, and brought home a three man limit of yellow bellies!!! The bite was definately on today, all doubles and triples! Non-stop action! One of the best trips of the fall by far. Mitchells Bay area.:) :) :)

RL, I was east of the gin clear water, the water was stained where I was fishing. The action for me on Friday was not hot and heavy, sounds like you had a more active school, good job. What depth of water were you fishing?

:) :) :) FF, we were fishing in 11-13 ft of water in Mitchell's Bay. We went through a ton of bait.
