Headed out fairly early and had lines set at 8:15. Went 3 for 3 in the first 1 1/2 hours and then someone tuned the switch off. Although it was a slow day we did have a bright spot. The downrod rod went off and after a fairly quick battle, we put a 50 1/2 inch (didn't squeeze the tail) Muskie in the net. The girth was 23/12 inches and weighed 34 lbs. That is the biggest fish by weight ever caught on my boat. Definitely made our day . Here is a pic:

Fish was released to give someone else a thrill. We caught it off the Puce, Perch Nils. Mike, you're the big fish Muskie guy, you should be giving me info!:p ;) Jr got one close to that 2 days ago but due to a fire drill, we didn't get a good picture. We might have to give this one more try before the end of the season! :)
