Ducks in the fog

Kinda off track, but while motoring around in the fog on my way to mouth of the D. river, I ran across a phenominal amount of ducks in the water! Mostly mallards, and there was literally thousands of them! Huge floating flocks would clear a path for the baot as I drove though. Never saw a sight like that in my life! Not a duck hunter, but I was amazed at that. I guess they don't fly too well in the fog!

I had the same experience on Tuesday event.

I was motoring from the South Shore back up toward Deckers, and I had an object approaching fast on my radar.

Then later we found a huge flock and it made my radar useless.

Same thing happened to me last night but they were those comorants(sp). Literally 100s of them running on the water trying to get out of my way. Funny to watch them give up and dive under the water when you get too close.
