My past couple hunts I've been taunted by the most difficult target I know of. SQUIRRELS! When I take my shotgun there they are sitting at 75 yards. When I take the .22 they're always running 15 yards in front of me. So I've decided to buy a gun capable of reaching both distances. I'm familiar with the savage models but was wondering if anyone else had any suggestion for a shotgun/.22LR combo?

I'd prefer that it's a 12 gauge, but would settle for a 20 if that's all I can find, but the .22LR part is a necessity. I'd also like it to be of decent quality. I remember seeing a .410/.22 combo a few years ago that looked like a drunken elf had assembled it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
