I was fortunate to arrow a 10 pointer last Saturday. Basic 8 point with split brows - no monster but a buck many of us would like to get with the bow. I'm very happy with the double lung pass through and 40 yard retrieve. So I say to myself, self - you HAVE to hold out for a bruiser now. It is my QDM method - take a good buck (2 1/2 or older and 8 points or better) then hold out for a real mature buck. No buck - take a doe.

Oh my God - tonight I had 3 bucks chasing does and a dandy 8 pointer within bow range for 10 minutes - and it's a little bigger than the 10 point I shot (tine length)! I was sooooo tempted but didn't shoot. QDM isn't easy my friends as this is the first time I've been in this fantastic predicament. Good luck everybody - I've never seen a year as good as this! :D

Had the same thing happen last Saturday. It hurts to watch them but their sure fun to see. Nice job of sticking with your plan.
