Not to get too far of topic here but, we all know tinks has been around for a long time....Well the first time I saw the black widow estrus scent I was surprised to see big stickers on it saying to be used in the 2006 season. Since tink's does not tell you a freshness date I went to thier website and emailed them simply asking, "when I am at a store how can I tell how fresh the stores batch of tink's 69 is?" I was hoping for some insight on how to read a code or something on the bottle so I could compare suppliers thus getting a fresh batch....Well I got an email back that only said " It will be fresh the air is what breaks it down" Kind of a disappointing response. So now I am curious as to how long this stuff will last in my little wik filled bottles that are hanging exposed to the air for 4-12 hours depending on my sit.:dizzy: Oh well, maybe someone else knows more about how fresh this stuff is or how you can tell.

Yeah, I saw their website but it doesnt list their retailers. I dont want to order it because I dont think I'll get it in time. I live in Novi right by Gander Mtn but they dont have it. I'll be heading to the UP so I'll try Franks.

if you have a gander mountain near ya they should have black widow ....i bought mine from our gander mountain here in traverse city,

blue steel your gander didnt have it? huh ours does up here....ii used black widow for the first time last year up in da U.P. it worked great!! i seen a few bucks with it but nothing shootable....it was funny to watch them young bucks come to it though they would lift there head and roll there upper lip while smelling my bombs it was so fun too just watch them.......

They have a website (blackwidow.com)and the operation is in Evart, Michigan..hope it helps. I bought some at the local hardware in Evart, although I don't remeber the name. Hope it helps.

Gander Mt. in saginaw has it. I bought mine there. Used last year and shot a buck with nose almost touching the wick. lol. Gander had it last week when I was there.
